Intel sets a new high, introducing the Core i9-14900KS CPU, the globe's quickest CPU operating at 6.2GHz

Intel's latest Core i9-14900KS brags an impressive clock speed of up to 6.2GHz, without any need for overclocking. This makes it the speediest consumer-level desktop CPUs, easily accessible in the market.

Intel continues to redefine the limits of desktop processor performance with its most recent product, the Core i9-14900KS. With an impressive clock speed reaching up to 6.2GHz without the need for overclocking, this processor establishes a new high standard as the quickest on the market for customers. This accomplishment exceeds the previous record set by last year’s chip, which had a top speed of 6GHz.

The Core i9-14900KS introduces a fresh design and is equipped with 24 cores and 32 threads, in addition to 36 megabytes of Intel's Smart Cache technology. This exclusive technology smartly distributes cache memory among the cores, assuring robust performance for gaming and creative tasks alike.

A standout feature of the Core i9-14900KS is its compatibility with Enhanced Intel Application Performance Optimization (APO). This capability can provide a performance boost of up to 11% in suitable titles, improving the overall user experience, especially in situations involving gaming and content creation.

The Core i9-14900KS has a strong memory capacity, able to support up to 192GB of either DDR5 5600 MT/s or DDR4 3200 MT/s memory units. This provides plentiful memory bandwidth to manage heavy-duty tasks and simultaneous operations.

Intel has also incorporated its Thermal Velocity Boost feature into the chip. This function, included in 11th Gen and subsequent Intel Core processors, automatically boosts the clock frequency by 100 MHz when the temperature stays below 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit). This highlights the significance of having effective cooling systems to achieve peak performance.

Intel suggests that gamers could experience a performance boost of up to 15 per cent, while individuals creating content might witness a notable 73 per cent surge during heavy-duty processing tasks.

The Core i9-14900KS can function with Z790 and Z690 motherboards, but for the best performance, Intel suggests utilizing the most recent BIOS updates.

The Core i9-14900KS, which is already on sale, begins at a price of $700. It can be bought as an individual item from regular retailers or it will soon be included in systems from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

It should be highlighted that Intel's primary aim with this launch is to attain maximum speed, rather than highlighting artificial intelligence. This strategy has been apparent in their product releases throughout the year.

Regarding the cost, the recommended sale price begins at $699, which is approximately Rs. 57,980. The CPU can be bought around the world from sellers, either on its own or as a part of systems provided by Intel's allied distributors and original device producers.
