Intel sets new milestone by introducing the Core i9-14900KS CPU, currently the world's fastest CPU with a speed of 6.2Ghz

The newly launched Core i9-14900KS by Intel proudly features an unparalleled clock speed of 6.2GHz straight out of the box, with no need for overclocking. This positions it as the quickest consumer-level desktop CPU, easily obtainable in today's market.

Intel has yet again surpassed expectations in desktop CPU performance with their most recent launch, the Core i9-14900KS. This processor impressively runs up to 6.2GHz without the need for overclocking, establishing a new standard as the speediest option on the market for consumers. This surpasses the previous record, set by last year's chip which only reached a maximum of 6GHz.

The Core i9-14900KS showcases a fresh design and is equipped with 24 cores and 32 threads, in addition to 36 megabytes of Intel’s unique Smart Cache system. This exclusive system cleverly distributes cache memory between the cores, ensuring impressive performance for both gaming and content development tasks.

A key feature of the Core i9-14900KS is its compatibility with Enhanced Intel Application Performance Optimization (APO). This function can provide a performance boost of up to 11% in compatible programs, improving user experience, especially in gaming and content creation situations.

The Core i9-14900KS has a strong memory capacity, able to support up to 192GB of either DDR5 5600 MT/s or DDR4 3200 MT/s memory modules. This guarantees sufficient memory bandwidth to manage demanding tasks and simultaneous operations.

Intel has incorporated its Thermal Velocity Boost feature into the chip as well. This function, which is accessible in 11th Gen and subsequent Intel Core processors, automatically enhances the clock frequency by 100 MHz if the temperatures stay under 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit). This highlights the necessity of having effective cooling systems to achieve the best performance.

Intel asserts that gamers could see a performance increase of up to 15 per cent, while content creators might experience a considerable 73 per cent enhancement in performance when performing computation-heavy tasks.

The Core i9-14900KS can work with both Z790 and Z690 motherboards. However, Intel suggests using the most recent BIOS updates to ensure the best performance.

The Core i9-14900KS is currently accessible in the market with a starting price of $700. It can be bought as a separate product from conventional retailers or will soon be incorporated into systems from OEMs.

It should be highlighted that with this launch, Intel continues to prioritize attaining pure velocity, rather than highlighting artificial intelligence. This approach has been apparent in their product reveals throughout the current year.

The recommended selling price starts at $699, which is approximately Rs. 57,980. The processor can be bought worldwide, either on its own or as part of systems provided by Intel's group of channel partners and original equipment manufacturers.
