Maintain a youthful interest in technology, without becoming overly dependent on it: PM Modi to Bill Gates
In a discussion with Bill Gates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some insights into his rapport with modern technology and innovation. He disclosed that while he possesses a youthful interest in technology, he has never allowed himself to be overly dependent on it.
In his conversation with Microsoft's co-founder Bill Gates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed a bit about his personal connection with technology. Both Modi and Gates showed a strong interest in learning about each other's experiences with technology.
In response to a question regarding his connection with technology, Prime Minister Modi disclosed that even though he is captivated by technology and naturally inquisitive about all new developments, he has never been shackled by it nor has he ever been subservient to it.
The Prime Minister expressed a deep interest in technology, though he admits he's far from being a specialist. His curiosity mirrors that of a youthful inquirer. Despite his keen interest, he clarified that he is not overly dependent on or controlled by technology. He's always vigilant for the latest technological innovations and developments, but he's not limited by them. His attitude is forward-thinking; whenever he learns about a new tech, he's constantly considering how to integrate and employ it effectively.
The Prime Minister proceeded to describe his perspective on budding technologies and his connection with them. "As the conversation about AI began globally, I found myself contemplating how we can integrate it into our existence," he shared. "I'm often drawn to the diverse uses and functions of technologies. I possess a natural inquisitiveness, perhaps a divine endowment, to rapidly explore and embrace new innovations," PM Modi further remarked.
PM Modi also expressed interest in Gates' technological journey. He asked the co-founder who transitioned into philanthropy, what was the most rewarding moment of his career in technology.
Gates started by saying, "I consider myself fortunate to have been born during the era of the microchip revolution. I received a high-quality education. I maintain a positive outlook. I had the opportunity to leave school to pursue risky ventures, which didn't appear too hazardous to me," he stated.
Gates expressed that the most thrilling aspect was witnessing people utilize the technology. His intrigue has always prompted him to desire software. Seeing how technology is enhancing people's lives has brought him immense satisfaction.
