In his dialogue with Bill Gates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some insights about his association with modern technology and innovation. He disclosed that while he possesses a keen interest in technology, akin to the enthusiasm of a child, he has never let it control him.
During a conversation with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an insight into his personal connection with technology. Both Modi and Gates showed a strong interest in learning about each other's experiences with technology.
In response to a question about his connection to technology, Prime Minister Modi admitted that even though he is captivated by technology and naturally inquisitive about all new developments, he has never allowed it to control him or become dependent on it.
"Technology captivates me. I'm not claiming to be a specialist, but I hold a deep-rooted curiosity, akin to a youngster's," shared the Prime Minister. "Nonetheless, I've never been chained to technology. I'm constantly scouting for the most recent innovations, but I'm not confined by it. I take an active role, whenever I learn about a new technological development, I always consider how to integrate and employ it," he further commented.
The Prime Minister proceeded to elaborate on his perspective of novel and developing technologies, as well as his connection with the tech sphere. "As soon as the global conversation around AI kicked off, I began pondering how we could integrate it into our daily lives," he expressed. "I'm inclined to seek out the various uses and benefits of technologies. I'm naturally curious, perhaps a divine endowment, to quickly embrace and adapt to innovations," PM Modi further stated.
PM Modi also showed interest in Gates' path in technology. He queried the co-founder who later became a philanthropist, about the most rewarding experience in his career in the tech industry.
Gates started by saying, "I consider myself fortunate to have been born during the era of the microchip revolution. I received an excellent education. I maintain a positive outlook. I had the opportunity to leave school to pursue ventures that didn't appear too hazardous to me," he expressed.
"However, the most thrilling aspect was observing individuals utilizing the technology. I've always desired software to satisfy my curiosity. Seeing how technology is enhancing people's lives has been immensely satisfying for me," Gates expressed.
