Vivo unveils the V30 series, sporting a 50MP front camera and 80W charging; Check cost and specifications

Vivo asserts that the V30 series smartphones are the slimmest in India for 2024, boasting a strong 5000 mAh battery. The starting price for the Vivo V30 is Rs 33,999, while the starting price for the V30 Pro is Rs 41,999.

Vivo has launched its new Vivo V30 series in India, which includes the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, with prices beginning at Rs 33,999. The standout features of the Vivo V30 series are a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a superior 120Hz refresh rate, along with a strong 5,000 mAh battery that offers quick 80W fast charging.

Vivo asserts that the Vivo V30 series smartphones, launched in 2024, are the slimmest smartphones in India and feature an impressive 5000 mAh battery. These new models will only be up for sale in India through Flipkart.

The unveiling of the Vivo V30 series introduces two phones, both of which have large, curved 1.5K AMOLED screens that measure 6.78 inches. The screens have a sharp resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. These new models also impress with a high touch sampling rate of 300Hz and top brightness level of 2,800 nits, ensuring great visibility in different light settings.

The Vivo V30 operates on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, whereas the Pro version utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both models deliver remarkable performance, supporting up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. They are furnished with Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 pre-installed, ensuring a seamless user interface.

When it comes to photography, the Vivo V30 boasts an advanced camera arrangement. This includes a 50MP main sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) for clear and stable imagery. In addition, there's a secondary 50MP sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an Aura Light flash feature to capture breathtaking wide-angle photos.

The Vivo V30 Pro comes with the same camera specs but includes an additional 50MP portrait camera for greater photographic flexibility. Both versions come with a 50MP front camera for taking high-resolution selfies.

Both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro come with powerful 5,000mAh batteries, designed to provide extended use. These batteries can be charged quickly using the efficient 80W wired fast charging feature, facilitated through handy USB Type-C ports. The phones also include state-of-the-art in-display fingerprint sensors for easy, yet secure access. The standard model is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity, while the Pro version is fitted with Bluetooth 5.3.

The Vivo V30 Pro is being offered in Andaman Blue and Classic Black shades, with the starting price for the 8GB + 256GB model at Rs 41,999, and Rs 46,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The basic Vivo V30 model is available in Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green shades. The pricing starts at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model.

Starting March 14, the phones can be bought through Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and physical retail stores. Customers can start pre-ordering the models from March 7.

Online shoppers can benefit from a straight 10% discount with SBI or HDFC cards, enjoy up to six months of interest-free installment plans, and receive up to Rs. 4,000 in trade-in discounts. For those shopping in physical stores, they can receive an immediate 10% cash rebate, up to eight months of interest-free installment payments, and up to a 40% discount on Vivo's V-Shield plan.
