Vivo introduces V30 series, equipped with 50MP front camera and 80W charging; Review costs and specifications

Vivo asserts that their V30 series smartphones are the slimmest in India for 2024, in addition to pointing out their impressive 5000 mAh battery. The starting price for the Vivo V30 is Rs 33,999, while the V30 Pro begins at Rs 41,999.

Vivo has launched its newest series, the Vivo V30, in India, which includes the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, with prices starting at Rs 33,999. The main attractions of the Vivo V30 series are a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a superior 120Hz refresh rate, and a powerful 5,000 mAh battery capable of 80W quick charging.

Vivo asserts that the Vivo V30 series smartphones, launched in 2024, are the slimmest in India. The company also emphasizes the impressive 5000 mAh battery capacity of these phones. These newly introduced models will only be accessible for buying in India through Flipkart.

Vivo V30 series unveiling: Details and Characteristics

Both models in the Vivo V30 series come equipped with large 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED screens, displaying a sharp image resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, they offer an impressive 300Hz touch sampling rate and a top brightness level of 2,800 nits, ensuring great visibility regardless of the lighting situation.

The Vivo V30 operates on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, whereas its Pro version utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both models deliver remarkable performance, supporting up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of internal storage. They are equipped with FunTouchOS 14, based on Android 14, for an effortless user interface.

When it comes to camera capabilities, the Vivo V30 boasts a complex camera configuration. This includes a main 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure clear and stable photographs. In addition, it has an additional 50MP sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an Aura Light flash feature, ideal for capturing breathtaking wide-angle images.

The Vivo V30 Pro boasts similar camera features but includes an additional 50MP portrait camera for more flexible photography. Each model comes with a 50MP front-facing camera for taking superior quality selfies.

Both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro come with substantial 5,000mAh batteries, ensuring extended use. These batteries can be fast-charged at 80W through a handy USB Type-C port, providing quick power-ups for users. The phones also boast cutting-edge in-display fingerprint scanners for easy and safe access. The standard model is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connections, while the Pro model uses Bluetooth 5.3 for uninterrupted wireless connectivity.

The Vivo V30 Pro is on offer in Andaman Blue and Classic Black shades, with a starting price of Rs 41,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs 46,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The standard Vivo V30 is available in Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green shades. Its price begins at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model.

Starting March 14, the phones can be bought through Flipkart, Vivo India's online store, and physical retail stores. Customers can start reserving the models from March 7.

Online shoppers can benefit from a straight 10% discount when using SBI or HDFC cards, six months of interest-free EMI, and an exchange discount of up to Rs. 4,000. For those who prefer shopping in physical stores, they are offered an immediate 10% cashback, up to eight months of EMI without any interest, and a maximum of 40% discount on Vivo's V-Shield plan.
