Maruti Suzuki, a top car producer in India, has declared its purchase of a 6.44 percent share in Amlgo Labs, a budding company focusing on data analysis, cloud technology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The capital commitment of Rs 1.99 crore signals Maruti Suzuki's dedication to harnessing cutting-edge technology to enhance the standard of its future car models.

Amlgo Labs, having branches in Gurugram and Bengaluru in India, and Delaware in the United States, is a leader in using technology for data-based decisions.

Maruti Suzuki has utilized its Innovation Fund to invest in Amlgo Labs, a move that aligns with the company's goal to strategically support startups that show strong technological capabilities. This is the second time the company has made such an investment, with the first one being in Sociograph Solutions Private Limited in June 2022.

The CEO and Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hisashi Takeuchi, voiced the company's continual dedication to promoting innovation through partnerships with startups. He stressed Maruti Suzuki's robust involvement in the Startup India initiative, which is designed to strengthen the startup environment and stimulate the creation of inventive solutions specifically for the automotive sector.
