India's top car maker, Maruti Suzuki, has publicized its purchase of a 6.44% share in Amlgo Labs, a startup focused on data analytics, cloud technology, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI). The Rs 1.99 crore investment demonstrates Maruti Suzuki's dedication to utilizing cutting-edge technologies to enhance the quality of its future car models.

Amlgo Labs, which has branches in Gurugram and Bengaluru, India, and Delaware, USA, is a leading force in the technological advancement of data-based decision making.

Maruti Suzuki's financial support for Amlgo Labs comes via the Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund, a fund designed to strategically invest in technologically advanced startups. This represents the second instance of the company making such an investment, with the first one being Sociograph Solutions Private Limited in June 2022.

Hisashi Takeuchi, the CEO and Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has conveyed the firm's perpetual dedication to nurturing creativity by partnering with startups.
