Possess more than 2500 confirmed followers on X? Elon will grant you complimentary access to Premium features
Elon Musk's X is now offering a reward to users with more than 2500 confirmed followers on the platform by providing free access to all Premium features. In addition, those with over 5000 confirmed followers will be given complimentary access to Premium+ features.
Elon Musk, the chief executive officer of X (previously known as Twitter), introduced a revolutionary plan on Thursday via his official X profile. Musk declared that X accounts with more than 2500 confirmed followers would now have access to Premium features at no cost.
Likewise, users with more than 5000 followers can use the features included in the Premium+ package, free of charge.
Musk's daring decision signifies a tactical shift for the platform to recognize and incentivize its most active users, hence fostering a more vibrant creator community.
X has launched a range of high-end features for its Premium and Premium+ levels. These are aimed at equipping creators, influencers, and users with resources for creating content, earning money, and enhancing engagement.
The Premium level includes the Edit Post option, which gives users a certain amount of time to modify their posted material. In addition, subscribers have the advantage of exceeding the usual character restriction, allowing them to share in-depth content up to 25,000 characters.
Exclusive members get the added advantage of extended video upload capacities, allowing stories up to three hours long and 8GB in size for more comprehensive multimedia narratives. They also have the ability to create communities on X, fostering relationships with others who have the same passions.
On the other hand, those who subscribe to Premium+ get special benefits, such as the esteemed Blue Checkmark Verification, which represents genuineness and trustworthiness. They also have the chance to make money from the revenue produced by ads shown in responses to their posts via the Ads Revenue Sharing function.
Moreover, Premium+ users have the opportunity to make money from their content by offering subscription-based access to exclusive material, thus creating a way to make a living on the platform.
Both the Premium and Premium+ levels guarantee a superior experience free from ads, reducing disruptions while consuming content. Verified users can participate in posts that only allow responses from other verified users, encouraging substantial engagement within the verified user community.
For enhanced security and to confirm genuineness, members can authenticate their accounts using an ID issued by the government. Furthermore, Premium members have the benefit of using Media Studio for effective handling of uploaded pictures and video content. Those with a Premium+ subscription can access X Pro, which provides high-level functions like customizable timelines, advanced search options, and the ability to manage contributors. Premium+ members can also post extended written content via the Articles feature, allowing them to share in-depth narratives and perspectives with their followers.
