Xiaomi 14, 14 Ultra unveiled in India featuring SDG 8 Gen 3, Leica Cameras; Review cost, features, and introductory deals

The release of Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India came as a delightful shock to many Xiaomi enthusiasts since it was unanticipated. Both gadgets are equipped with some commendable specifications and cameras fine-tuned by Leica.

Xiaomi has unveiled its newest series, the Xiaomi 14, in India. This series includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both of which are equipped with a camera system adjusted by Leica.

The Xiaomi 14 boasts remarkable features such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 50MP triple back camera configuration, and a sturdy 5,000 mAh battery that supports 90W rapid charging. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra offers a 50MP four-camera arrangement and a substantial 16GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra models both feature a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, boasting a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits along with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. These are all driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Xiaomi 14 provides 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage, whereas the Ultra variant takes it a notch higher with 16GB of RAM, while maintaining the same storage space. Both these models run on the Android 14-based HyperOS.

When it comes to camera features, the Xiaomi 14 offers a three-lens rear camera system that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. In contrast, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra stands out with its four-lens camera system, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, two additional 50MP sensors, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both models are equipped with a 32MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 14 comes with a 4,610 mAh battery that supports 90W rapid charging and 50W cordless charging. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a bigger 5,300 mAh battery, but also supports 90W rapid charging. Each of these models comes with a Type-C charging port, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display, among other features.

The Xiaomi 14 is being offered in one model that comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage, and it has a price tag of Rs 69,999. The available colors are Black, Green, and White. The sale of this product will commence on March 11 on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and mi.com.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been released in just one model, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage, with a price tag of Rs 99,999. It will be available in India from April 12 and can be bought via mi.com and MI Home.

Furthermore, purchasers will receive an immediate reduction of Rs 5,000 on ICICI Bank cards for both models, which makes these high-end devices even more attractive to customers.
