Vivo Unveils Thinnest Smartphones of 2024: V30 Series with 50MP Camera and 80W Charging – Specs, Pricing, and Availability in India

The Vivo V30 is priced from Rs 33,999, while the V30 Pro begins at Rs 41,999.

Vivo has launched its new V30 series in India, which includes the V30 and V30 Pro models, with prices beginning at Rs 33,999. The standout attributes of the V30 series are a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, and a strong 5,000 mAh battery capable of 80W quick charging.

Vivo asserts that the Vivo V30 series phones are the slimmest in India for the year 2024, with a notable mention of their robust 5000 mAh battery. These recently released models will be sold solely on Flipkart in India.

The unveiling of the VIvo V30 series: Details and Highlights

Both models from the VIvo V30 series are equipped with large 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED screens, offering a crystal clear resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels paired with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. They also impress with a swift 300Hz touch sampling rate and a maximum brightness level of 2,800 nits, ensuring great visibility regardless of light conditions.

The Vivo V30 operates on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, whereas the Pro model uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both models deliver remarkable performance, supporting up to 12GB RAM and offering up to 512GB internal storage. They are pre-loaded with the Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14, ensuring a seamless user interface.

When it comes to photography, the Vivo V30 boasts an advanced camera configuration, comprising a 50MP main sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) for clear and stable images. It also contains an additional 50MP sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an Aura Light flash feature for taking breathtaking wide-angle photos.

The Vivo V30 Pro comes with the same camera specs, but also includes an additional 50MP portrait camera for more robust photography options. Both versions come with a 50MP front camera for superior quality selfies.

Both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro come with powerful 5,000mAh batteries, guaranteeing extended use. These batteries are compatible with 80W fast charging through USB Type-C ports, enabling users to swiftly power-up their devices. Moreover, the phones come with cutting-edge in-display fingerprint recognition systems for easy and safe access. While the standard model provides Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, the Pro version offers Bluetooth 5.3 for uninterrupted wireless connections.

The Vivo V30 series has been launched with a variety of pricing options and deals. The Vivo V30 Pro model comes in Andaman Blue and Classic Black, and is priced from Rs 41,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version, and Rs 46,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version. The standard Vivo V30 is available in Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green, with prices beginning at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version, Rs. 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version, and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version.

Starting March 14, the phones can be bought through Flipkart, Vivo India's online store, and physical retail stores. The pre-order period for these models kicks off on March 7.

Online shoppers can enjoy a straight 10% reduction on SBI or HDFC cards, six months of interest-free EMI, and a maximum of Rs. 4,000 exchange discount. For customers who prefer to shop in physical stores, they can benefit from 10% immediate cash back, up to eight months of zero-interest EMI, and as much as 40% savings on Vivo's V-Shield plan.
