While the company managed to make accurate forecasts up to a week ahead in certain cases, the average prediction range is around five days. However, Google maintains a positive outlook, insisting that it has increased the dependability of existing worldwide nowcasts from zero to five days.

Additionally, the technology has significantly improved prediction accuracy in less represented regions like specific parts of Africa and Asia.

This technology has a widespread influence, with Google offering precise flood predictions for 80 nations, covering a combined population of 460 million people.
