Elon promises free Premium features for users with more than 2500 confirmed subscribers on X
Elon Musk's X is now offering all Premium features at no cost for users who have more than 2500 confirmed subscribers. Likewise, the platform will provide Premium+ features without charge for users with over 5000 confirmed subscribers.
Elon Musk, the chief executive officer of X (previously recognized as Twitter), introduced a pioneering project on Thursday via his official X profile. Musk declared that X accounts with more than 2500 authenticated followers will now avail of Premium features at no cost.
Likewise, users with more than 5000 followers will be able to utilize the features included in the Premium+ package, without incurring any charges.
Musk's audacious step indicates a tactical shift for the platform towards recognizing and compensating actively involved users, thus fostering a more vibrant creator community.
X has launched an array of high-end features throughout its Premium and Premium+ levels, with the aim of providing creators, influencers, and users with resources for creating content, earning money, and enhancing engagement.
The Premium level includes the Edit Post function, which gives users a brief opportunity to modify their already published material. Moreover, subscribers can exceed the usual character restriction, allowing them to share intricate content of up to 25,000 characters.
For members with premium subscriptions, they get the added advantage of being able to upload longer videos, with room for three-hour long content and a maximum file size of 8GB. This allows for more comprehensive multimedia narratives. In addition, premium members have the ability to create groups within X, making it easier to connect with others who have the same passions
On the other hand, those who subscribe to the Premium+ package get exclusive benefits like the esteemed Blue Checkmark Verification, which signifies genuineness and trustworthiness. Additionally, they are given a chance to make money from the earnings produced by advertisements shown in responses to their posts, thanks to the Ads Revenue Sharing function.
In addition, Premium+ users have the ability to generate income from their content by offering subscription-based access to exclusive material, thus presenting opportunities to make a living on the platform.
Both Premium and Premium+ levels ensure an improved experience without ads, reducing disruptions in content viewing. Verified accounts have the ability to participate in posts that only allow responses from other verified accounts, encouraging valuable communication within the verified user group.
To enhance safety and genuineness, users have the option to authenticate their accounts using an ID issued by the government. Furthermore, Premium members can use Media Studio for streamlined handling of uploaded photos and videos. On the other hand, Premium+ members can access X Pro, which provides superior features like customizable timelines, improved search functions, and managing contributors. Premium+ members also have the privilege to post extensive written content via the Articles feature, allowing them to share detailed narratives and perspectives with their followers.
